Thun is located at the western end of Lake Thun, only half an hour by train from the famous tourist resorts of Interlaken and the capital, Bern. The most impressive thing about Thun is the castles on the lakeside. When you climb the castle, you can see the city and the scenery is beautiful.

Lugano is located in the Italians speaking canton of Ticino. It is the largest Italian speaking majority outside Italy. The city centre is located on the lakeshore just to the west of where the River Cassarate enters the lake. The city got its first scheduled flights in 1980. It has a humid subtropical climate closely bordering on an oceanic climate.

Venice consisting of 118 small islands is connected by 177 waterways and 401 bridges! A number of civilizations, different cultures and a plethora of artistic styles throughout history has converted Venice into a fascinating city but it looks exactly as it did 600 years back. Zermatt, a combustion engine free zone, is famed as a mountaineering and ski resort and is a starting point for hikes into the mountains from where the cable cars and chair lifts carry tourists; the highest being “the Klein Matterhorn” at 3,883 meters. The highest open-air railway in Europe – the Gornergratbahn, runs up to the summit of the “Gornergrat” at 3,089 metres.

Zürich, the largest city of Switzerland, was founded about 2000 years ago. Zurich University, “The ETH”, built from 1858 to 1864, is associated with 21 Nobel prizewinners. The Old Town extends on the two sides of the "Limmat River", which streams from the lake Zürichis. In addition to being the richest city in Europe, this city is also known for the highest quality of life in the world.
